The rain stuck around but thankfully it wasn’t pouring and we were able to capture family photos, plus bridal party & some intimate couple photos in a 45minute time frame. I love working under pressure (sorry if I got bossy) haha But so in love with how the photos from the day turned out, although right at the end, I would have loved a “Notebook” style kissing photo in the pouring rain 😍 not sure if @sarah_trevaskis would have felt the same way 😅 I hope the rain brings as much good luck to your life together as they say it does ♥️ . . . #doondoon #weddingphotography #wetwedding #weewaa #weewaaphotographer #narrabriphotographer

Ive recently rebranded, and in doing that I thought I should introduce myself. Have a read if you like, or check out my new website in my bio💕 Hi I’m Penny! I worked for years as a Pre School Photographer, Digital Artist, and School Photographer. But this work didn’t make me happy. During this time I also married an amazing man, and we started a family. Coming up 7 years ago we moved from the Wollongong coast of NSW to a small country town 7.5 hours north west, called Wee Waa, for my husband to pursue his music teaching career and so I could stay home with our growing family. The clan includes Marley 7, Indigo 5, Louis 2 each with there very different personalities 🤍 But I had other creative ambitions that I felt a calling to pursue, while growing our family and working in hospitality. I wanted to do something that would make my heart race! So I re-started my photography business and began capturing the joyful moments in people’s lives – shots of people having fun, being in love, and celebrating with one another. I quickly fell in love with documentary photography and family photos, and I have not looked back. For me, great family photography is about documenting you and your family just as you are: unique, full of life, with beautiful and interesting personalities. Laughter, tears, and everything in between. I want you to have pictures that remind you of how life looked right now. Because there’s nothing better than real life.

As your wedding photographer, I’ll be by your side to help you manage the butterflies in your stomach so that you can focus on having an amazing time with the people who matter most!

Every wedding is unique, but there’s one thing that they all have in common: they all rush by in the blink of an eye. That’s why it’s so important to preserve these once-in-a-lifetime moments in the form of candid, fun wedding photos that will last forever. That’s where I come in!
I photograph headshots, business photos, reportage and events and conferences. In principle, most things where people are in focus. Depending on the nature of the assignment, the images can be used for a number of different purposes such as website, marketing, annual reports, press releases, CVs, etc. I do not consider any assignment too big or too small, I photograph for both small and large companies. My base is Wee Waa, NSW and I work all over Australia

My Style

I specialise in capturing the spontaneous and organic moments that define each unique day. Most of what I photograph during a session is candid and loosely directed. Because let’s face it: You can spend all day trying to stage that one perfect shot, but at the end of the day nothing is as beautiful as real life.

Whether it's a significant occasion or the beauty found in everyday moments, I aim to document something truly memorable. My focus lies in candid, organic shots: from Grandad dancing recklessly, your best friend laughing so hard that wine shoots out of her nose, or your kids embarking on an adventure in search of dinosaur bones. These are the one-of-a-kind moments that photography has the power to preserve forever, and at its best, it can give us the sense of a person’s whole soul through just one image.

Those are the kinds of images I have the honour of creating every day. I’d love to tell your story, too!
